Mrs. Vaglia’s Adventuring 3rd Grade Class April 23, 2019 Field Trip to Washington, DC Math We are starting coins and making change from $5.00. This will incorporate 4 digit subtraction. When you go shopping, if you are using cash, have them figure out what to give and how much change they should get back. It slows the process, but makes this learning real world! We are reviewing and retesting this week as well. I have the majority of the money and permission slips in now. Just waiting on a few more. I still have places for parents to chaperone if you would like. I understand some people were having trouble with the online portal to pay. Either try again, or send in cash or a check. Only a few more days away! We’d love to have you join us! Report Cards Student Led Conferences Report cards went home on the Friday before spring break. Please remember to send back the envelope it came home in with the blue signed card inside. If you would like to conference, let me know. Coming in May, is our student led conferences. We have been tracking their progress since the beginning of the 2nd quarter and reflecting on how and why their scores look the way they do. Be on the look out for a date.
