Language Arts Countdown Check In Collect your IAN and Springboard Book. We will need scissors and glue, so you can borrow a bucket of stuff if needed. Questions to the PL

Conflict IAN Activity #4 Cut out and glue the heading to the top. Yes, you can just write it if that’s easier for you. Cut out each piece separately being careful to leave the lightning bolt attached! Glue the tabs down so that you can fold the doors open and they meet in the middle. You should save space down below for other notes! 

Building the IAN foldable Cut the individual triangles out and glue them into your IAN as FOLDABLES. Don’t glue it all the way down! You know who I’m talking to… We will NOT be coloring. Be sure to title your page! 

Notes for Inside of your IAN Man vs. Self (Internal) A struggle between man and his own feelings, conscience, or fears! Example: Officer Delinko knows the owls are there, but doesn’t want to risk his job.

Man vs. Man (external) Notes Cont… A struggle, mental or physical, between two characters Dana vs. Roy

Notes cont… Man vs. Society (external) A struggle between a character and the laws or beliefs of a group. Example: Mullett Fingers is required by law to be in school, but his abusive home life makes that impossible.

Notes… Man vs. Nature (external) A struggle between man and mother nature. The owls vs. the men!
