Guidelines defined early Dec 2012 Preparation for TS#4 Guidelines defined early Dec 2012 Possible impact from others: EL: 19Dec’13 07h, yearly test of safety powering CV: Test @P4, plus our request for maxi 2 pumps and reduced temperature CRYO: criteria to be evaluated: Work to be made on your site (site specific) Highest availability over Xmas (less plants required!) Possible redundancy over Xmas (2nd plant in cold stand-by?) Configuration foreseen for restart Jan’13 (1 or 2 sectors per cryoplant?) Guidelines for January 2013: Monday evening: ≈ 200mbar / 3.3 K Tuesday evening: ≈ 60mbar / 2.5 K Wednesday evening: <20mbar / 2.1 K then 1.95K BUT would be appreciated if 2 sectors in cascade Tests (a priori before Xmas): DFBA’s internal connections, 60A in DFBA@20K with arc@4K Done, under evaluation Done, OK Well under control, only minor interventions required on top of periodic checks/adjustments So far as foreseen or better, with 5 sectors at 200mbar, 2 at 110mbar, 1 at 70mbar And 3/4 RF modules with 30K GHe 08Jan'13 CCC 8h30 meeting

Evolution over Xmas Tech Stop #4 P4, internal mini cryo issue, treated by on call operator Most quiet Xmas of the last 4, but many people involved including LUCK and calm weather! No special helium loss, no damage to HW, on tracks for recool-down Tech Stop #4 08Jan'13 CCC 8h30 meeting

Forecasts for this week RF: 45: 2 modules to be filled this Tuesday 8th 34: cool-down of last module to 30K to be done, filling with LHe (both) for Wed.9th DFB’s and Stand-Alone Magnets:: Filled with LHe as soon as capacity allows ARCS: 12: to be pumped below 20mbar this Tuesday 8th, CS/CM for Wed.9th 56/67: pumping to 20mbar Tues.8th, CS/CM for Thursday 10th Others: progress with steps 34: some work on CC this morning Beam screen circuits: Cryo bake-out for all once below 3K for arcs/ITs or above 50% LHe for SAMs 08Jan'13 CCC 8h30 meeting
