Creating Productive Organizational Culture

What is it? Services that we provide or products we make & Manner in which we handle ourselves while doing it

I’ve studied:

And I’ve learned …. but then …. Prophets: 3-5 year period to make a real culture change but then ….

I learned from an expert

What does it take to change a culture? Trust Respect

Trust Can’t have trust unless: You are competent and sincere You care about them and what it is that they do Care about what you do and who you are

Respect You are knowledgeable, experienced, believable in 2 areas Core Values Expectations

Core Values: Tell the truth Keep your word Be fair Respect individuals Encourage intellectual creativity

Expectations Do the right thing (be trustworthy) Do the best you can (be hardworking) Treat other people as you would like to be treated (be caring)

How To Create Your Culture Must be believable Must be directed toward common benefit (Jeffco driver) Be an example Better believe in ME !

Change Obstacles Fear Aggressive Insecure, insulting Lazy behavior Undisciplined Resentful Energy lost

Parting Advice Everyone knows the vision Surround yourself with the best people Let them do their job Evaluate where you are
