Basic Requirements Complete the Prerequisite Phase. Take Foundation (4) + Advanced (8) + Capstone (1) = 13 courses with NO DOUBLE-COUNTING. Take at least three 500-level courses plus the capstone (IS577). You can “earn” 2 or more competencies. The same course can be double/triple-counted in different competency modules. MS IS 2005
