Troubleshooting the Control Panel Basic troubleshooting of the Control Panel

The connection cables in the back of your computer The control panel is connected to the computer through a VGA/ audio cable. One end connects to a dongle that then connects to the computer. That same end also has an audio cable that plugs into the back of the computer. These connections must be secure in order for the Audio/Video to work properly.

There are 3 separate electronic devices that are involved with the control panel The Creston Box The Control Panel is controlled by the Crestron Box. The DVD/VCR player The Amplifier Used for audio.

Wow there are a lot of cables coming out of the back of those electronic devices! Your correct, there are a lot of cables. As much as we encourage you to troubleshoot issues, we do not want you struggling with the cables that come out of the back of the Amplifier, the DVD/VCR player or the Creston Box. Thus, the troubleshooting we encourage you to do is surface level.

HELP!! There is no sound coming out of the speakers in the ceiling. What do I need to check? First, check the connection cables in the back of computer. As stated earlier they need to be secure. Second, make sure the amplifier is on. Third, make sure the mute button is not on. The mute button can be found on the Control Panel, on your keyboard and through sound in system preferences. Fourth, make sure the volume is turned up on your computer and the Control Panel.

HELP!! The computer screen and the projector screen are not displaying the same thing, where do I go to change this? Mirroring Versus Tiling Mirroring - both the computer screen and the projector screen are showing the same thing. Tiling - The computer screen and the projector screen are showing different displays. Accessing mirroring and tiling: Go to the Apple on the menu bar Choose System Preferences Choose Display Choose the Arrange Tab Check the mirror check box for mirroring Uncheck the mirror check box for tiling

HELP!! I have looked at everything and it still does not work. What do I do? Send in a helpdesk ticket at: We will help you as soon as we can.
