How? Instead of merely sending the selected keyword(s) to a search engine, FollowMyLink selects additional terms that are likely to be relevant to the selected term… 6

Why? Instead of taking the user to a search engine’s results page, we take the user to the top ranked page the search engine returns We will also provide a way for users to look at the results to select another page 7

How? Maintain two models Session User Model Page Model Page Model will look for potentially interesting/ relevant terms around the selected term and on the same page Session UM will record terms that occur frequently throughout the session 8

Tools I recommend… Mozilla Firefox Xul (XML User Interface Language) and JavaScript A tutorial on Xul will be provided Google API Your plug-in will be portable! But you’re free to use any other browser, platform, language 9
