Jobs and Skills Unemployment Example map of the high level of this type of work – i.e. a lot more than the national average Data compared to UK national averages Source – Census 2011 Visualisation – datashine.org.uk

Good General Health – areas of good health in red The ONS mapped data in Datashine is not as good as Employment data only 1 stat shows specific problems relating to the area. The reason is that ONS data just flags health as Very good through to very poor. No explanation of type of health problems so you can have poor health in wealthy elderly areas (like Sutton Colfield) appearing as unhealthy in a younger population but suffering more smoking related diseases. Data compared to UK national averages Source – Census 2011 Visualisation – datashine.org.uk

Birmingham Connected – provision of Sprint Bus Mobility Birmingham Connected – provision of Sprint Bus ONS data only shows travel to work in mapping terms. I don’t have more detailed data to hand. There are some plans in Birmingham Connected and cycle route planned as part of Birmingham Cycle Revolution
