Pray Frequently.

Ephesians 6:18, "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert, always keep on praying for all the saints." - Pg.946

"A constant conversation with God."

Pray Earnestly.

Ephesians 3:20 "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.“ Pg.948

Pray Specifically

Hebrews 4:16 "Let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There, we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most." -Pg.967

Boldness is asking God to act.

Discussion Question Typically when we pray, we ask God to do something. But maybe what really needs to happen is that something (attitudes, circumstances) needs to be removed before what we desire can happen.

What would the thing you desire most look like if nothing stood in its way?

Ask God to show you what the obstacles are and then ask him to remove them. What if we are the obstacle? How can we have the courage to face God’s answer and get out of his way, if necessary?
