Fundraising Coastal Credit Music Park (Walnut Creek) Work as a server in Beer/Wine stand Must be 21 (98% of work is serving alcohol) Must attend alcohol TEAM training (no cost) Breakdown of what/how you “earn”: Cash tips - split among all working, keep 100% Sales Commissions + Credit Card Tips - split among all working $50 - guaranteed minimum earnings $50-$67 - $50 to student account, remaining to General Fund $67 and above - 75% to student account, 25% to GF Why this breakdown? Walnut Creek Real-World Example using concert from last year Hank Williams Jr. Sales Commissions - $921.70 Credit Card Tips - $228.42 Total - $1150.12 8 people working Even Split - $143.76 75% to Student Account - $107.82 25% to General Fund - $35.94 There were two Spouse teams working that night Each student account would have earned over $107 in one night ($215 for the spousal teams!) Fundraising Staff One Fall Opportunities Spring Opportunities Volunteer as ticket takers/ushers at NCSU, Duke, or ECU football games Students age 16+ can volunteer for most events Spring Opportunities NCAA Soccer Championships Rock & Roll Marathon College Graduation Ceremonies Concerts at Carter Finley Stadium Receive $9/hr for college football games (rates differ for other events) –  Tax-Free credit directly into student accounts In need parent to manage this for 2018/19 Minimal time – mainly email communication Clayton High School Performance Ensembles

Fundraising Earnings from Any Method Above Profits from Fundraising events are paid to CHS Band Boosters and individual student accounts are credited their profit share amounts These are Tax-Free, Non-Refundable credits More than one person can work towards a student’s account Spouses, Grandparents, other Family members, ANYONE! Credits roll-over year to year Credits can roll to siblings Can be used towards most band/guard related expenses Fairshare always takes first priority Upon graduation or leaving of the program, credits can be assigned to student of choice or go to General Fund You can NOT ‘cash out’ any unused credits.
