Warm-up, 4/30 (week ending 5/4) Please have your agenda placed on the corner of your desk Why does international trade require a system for exchanging currencies between nations? Answer: countries/businesses need to be able to convert money from one country into the currency of another (to do this, you multiply the amount of money you have by the exchange rate) Today’s Learning Target: Calculate exchange rates between countries. Compare and contrast trade barriers: tariff, quotas, embargoes, and standard.

Daily Summary, 4/30 (week ending 5/4) Write today’s learning target Calculate exchange rates between countries. Compare and contrast trade barriers: tariff, quotas, embargoes, and standard. 2. Write two sentences explaining important things to remember from today’s class. Must be written in complete sentences, and must show evidence of details discussed in class to receive full credit.
