Health Education Classroom Rules

Be on Time for Class Be in the room and in your seat when the tardy bell rings. If you are late communicate with me personally. After talking with you I will determine if you are excused or unexcused.

Do the Right Thing We all know at this stage in school how to behave or act. I EXPECT YOU TO ACT OR BEHAVE IN AN APPROPRIATE MANNER.

Some Suggestions Be ready for class…pencil, pen, paper, etc…YOU KNOW THE DRILL… Expect to do school work at school…YOUR ATTITUDE WILL DETERMINE YOUR SUCCESS… Treat the people around you with respect…THAT INCLUDES THE TEACHER AND YOUR PEERS… Follow directions and ask questions when you need to…

15-15 RULE Teachers are NOT supposed to let students out of class the first 15 minutes of class and the last 15 minutes of class. Communicate with me if you have “special” or “emergency” situations.

Hall Passes No students are to be in the halls without a pass… So take a pass when you leave…that is your responsibility.

When You Miss School or Class When you miss class it is your responsibility to get all missed work assignments. Turn them in to me ASAP...do not wait to long or I might not except it…

Communication Is the Key to Success Communication with me is the only way I get information from you and to you! So become a “GREAT COMMUNICATOR” I cannot read your mind and will not listen to second hand excuses…”Tanner said to tell you he will be late he is making up a test in English class.” You are not to miss this class for another class unless I give you permission in advance…
