Part 3 ‘Heart of Darkness’

Heart of Darkness: Map There are two journeys that Marlow takes in HoD: the physical and the psychological. Create a map that indicates Marlow’s psychological journey. Map out a visual of how he “travels” over the course of the novel, and include symbolic landmarks to indicate where/when he experiences psychological change or development. Include quotes/words/phrases from the novella where appropriate. Consider: What changes does he experience? Where/when/how do those changes occur? Pay particular attention to the values he claims to have yet violates or abandons. In what ways does he learn to accept ambiguities?
