The mainstay of his work involves worksite hazard identification and subsequent loss prevention program development, safety training and regulatory compliance services. He has concentrated experience servicing businesses in the transportation, health care, service mercantile and construction industries. The diverse safety programs Vance has helped customers implement, such as property, ergonomic, fleet, food service and haz-com, have proven to significantly reduce their losses and claims spending. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Vance has broad loss control experience spanning 14 years working in Texas corporate, insurance carrier and broker environments. He has held positions at Decker Food Company and Liberty Mutual, where he also brokered commercial property/casualty insurance for predominantly middle market accounts. He was most recently vice president of loss control services at Lockton Companies of Dallas. AFFILIATIONS Vance is a Field Safety Representative in Texas, a Local Recording Agent and a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). He, wife Elli and their son are members of Prestonwood Baptist Church. EDUCATION A 1993 graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler where he studied industrial safety, Vance became a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) in 2006 and an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) in 2007.
