What is Praise  Praise is the joyful recounting of all God has done for us. It is closely intertwined with thanksgiving as we offer back to God appreciation for His mighty works on our behalf. Praise is universal and can be applied to other relationships as well. We can praise our family, friends, boss, or paperboy. Praise does not require anything of us. It is merely the truthful acknowledgment of the righteous acts of another. Since God has done many wonderful deeds, He is worthy of praise Psalm18:3 Psalm18:3

What is Praise  In Scripture, praise is usually presented as boisterous, joyful, and uninhibited. God invites praise of all kinds from His creation. Jesus said that if people don't praise God, even the "stones will cry out" (Luke 19:40).Luke 19:40

What is Worship  Worship, however, comes from a different place within our spirits. Worship should be reserved for God alone Luke 4:8. Worship is the art of losing self in the adoration of another. Praise can be a part of worship, but worship goes beyond praise. Praise is easy; worship is not. Worship gets to the heart of who we are. To truly worship God, we must let go of our self-worship. We must be willing to humble ourselves before God, surrender every part of our lives to His control, and adore Him for who He is, not just what He has done. Worship is a lifestyle, not just an occasional activity. Jesus said the Father is seeking those who will worship Him "in spirit and in truth" John 4:23. Luke 4:8 John 4:23

What is Worship  The word, “Worship”, comes from the Anglo term, “worth-ship”. To worship God was to acknowledge that God is worthy, worthwhile, worth praising. Worship is honoring God as God. It is communicating to God our praise and thanksgiving through songs, action and words spoken.  In the broadest scripture sense, worship includes everything from obedience (1Sam 15:22) to personal holiness (Rom 12:1) to helping the poor and needy (James 1:27)

Purpose of the  The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship.

Some of the qualities successful musicians possess are: Confidence. There are many successful musicians today who had no other choice of career except music, so they gave their 100% to it.... Hard Work. They say that hard work is the first stepping stone to success.... Practice.... Modesty.... Patience And Not Giving Up.... Creativity.

Responsibilities of Music Ministry Members  Music Ministry members give life, and color to events and occasions through their songs. They sing gracefully that gives melody the ears of the many. They are a very important group to any occasions because they give enjoyment and life to the given event that is very important to the many.  It is important that when we sing, we sing beautifully, because it touches people's souls. The reason that we work so hard to create beautiful music together is so that we can glorify God and help people experience a holy moment.

Our Mission  We must work hard to select and sing songs for our worship services that teaches the truth about the Lord and also ministers to the soul. It is this very nature of music, and its appeal to parts of our hears that a sermons can rarely touch that motivates us to work hard at our task. For many it will be music and not the sermon that changes their lives. After all that is not surprising if we understand the doctrine of spiritual gifts. When our worshipers are drawn into God's presence, they speak to Him and listen to Him, we rejoice. Our mission has been accomplished.

Thank you and God bless!
