Review of Requirements (17) E12: Final Project Review of Requirements (17)

The Task Bring together characters from different works of literature and force them to interact. Use this interaction to demonstrate an insightful understanding of the characters and literary works.

The Basics You may perform live or on video If groups are unable to perform on the due date, the standard late work policy applies. If you are absent, I still expect that your project will be submitted on time. You must submit a final, typed draft of your script on the due date (including the names/periods of all your group members and a creative title) Your production must last a minimum of 5 minutes, plus 1 minute for each additional graded student

Group Requirements You may work with a group of up to six graded students from any of my English 12 classes Regardless of your group size, you must include a minimum of three characters from three different works of literature (even if you are working solo) Each group member must play the role of a major character

Grading (50 Reading and 50 Speaking) Quality and Professionalism Time (5-10 minutes) Plot and Setting Character Development Props and Costumes Audience Understanding

Reminders Poor audio or visual quality can interfere with understanding and lower scores Don’t forget to submit a final draft of the script You need 5-10 minutes (depending on group size) of meaningful interaction and character development The plot and setting need to be clear to the audience Character development and demonstration of understanding are the two primary goals of this assignment “Props and costumes” is the easiest grade criterion to maximize 50 points is approximately 12% of the Reading category and 16% of the Speaking/Listening category
