Ronald Jansen, United Nations Statistics Division, jansen1@un.org Results of survey on IMTS 2010 implementation plans Item 4(e) on the Provisional Agenda Note by UNSD Main conclusion of the survey was that the developing and transition countries indicate a need for assistance with the implementation of the new recommendations, expressing a need for mobilization of resources, cooperation with the partner agencies availability of a Compilers Manual statistical capacity building activities. By contrast, the developed countries indicate that generally they will manage without much assistance, but do express the importance of having a Compilers Manual.
