The Most Basic Scope FRA Bundle J2100A Injection transformer J2120A Line injector VRTS 1.6 Demo Board
The J2120A Line Injector ~ 1𝑢𝑉 𝐻𝑧 ~1𝑚𝑉𝑝𝑝 ~ 350𝑛𝑉 𝐻𝑧 ~200𝑢𝑉𝑝𝑝 ~ 1𝑢𝑉 𝐻𝑧 ~1𝑚𝑉𝑝𝑝 ~ 350𝑛𝑉 𝐻𝑧 ~200𝑢𝑉𝑝𝑝 ULTRA-LOW noise Up to 50VDC 5Amps CE Certified ~ 1𝑛𝑉 𝐻𝑧 ~2𝑢𝑉𝑝𝑝 Need higher voltage or current? J2121A 400VDC/20A
The J2100A and J2101A Transformer High linearity/low distortion Up to 600V Cat II CE Certified Need higher bandwidth, lower frequency? J2110A DC-100MHz 10V injector
Common measurement errors? The results can become distorted if the injected signal is too large May need to remove many or most of the input capacitors The scope has limited dynamic range. The demo boards are designed to stay inside this range. Going outside the range can result in bad data Induced noise in ground leads can be significant – plug for the mmcx tips works here
Demonstrating the FRA features Control the setting by using your own demo boards and knowing the right answer Start with the VRTS1.6 to show off mmcx probe tips. Some customers will complain that VRTS1.6 is a linear regulator – too easy LM20143 is pocket sized, USB powered control loop demo switching regulator VRTS3 is more sophisticated, USB powered, switching regulator and PSMR LM20143 VRTS3
