AE Title III Status Introduction Jacobs’ full time, on-site Representative (since 26 July’06), Co-located with CF Group. Function is to represent the Designer and work as part of the LCLS Conventional Facilities Team. Recent DOE project experience was as one of two full-time on-site design team representatives on SNS project.

AE Title III Status Background Jacobs was responsible for the Title I and II design of the Conventional Facilities including the CLOC. Jacobs is currently performing Title III Services during construction as described in AIA Document B141 and as amended by letter of agreement between SLAC & Jacobs

Title III services include the following: AE Title III Status Title III services include the following: Response to design related requests for information (RFIs) during the Bidding process. Response to CM/GC and subcontractor generated RFIs. Review of subcontractor Submittals and Requests for Substitution.

AE Title III Status Site Visits by the design leads at appropriate times during construction All Scope Changes are handled through the previously established DCN process Completed VE redesign on 16 October 2006 SLAC/Jacobs currently evaluating impact of CLOC deletion on remaining scope. .
