FAST FACTS 2020 TEAM FEES TEAM SCHEDULE Rosters 2019 COACHES Arctic Blast is a not-for-profit fastpitch club team run through the Eden Prairie Fastpitch Association. Our goal is to provide a positive experience for players looking to increase their skills, play at a higher competitive level and understand how to play as a true team. We have a history of success across all of our age level teams. TEAM SCHEDULE TEAM FEES Fall: Sunday League Play or a Tourney play schedule. (Late Aug-Sept) Winter: Off season training Nov–Feb: -Hitting weekly @ EP dome -10 week Pitching program with instructor along with pitching space each week. -Catching Academy and weekly instruction -Potential other items in the works Summer: -USA Softball Gold League -6-7 Weekend Tournaments - National Tourney -Week surround 4th of July off. We normally play the weekend after the 4th Example Tournament Schedule: (Normally 2 over night travel tourneys) Buffalo Bison Showdown or Grand Slam Lexi Kretsch/Down & Dirty - Waite Park Summer Classic or S&C Showcase Red River Rage Tourney - Fargo Gold State Tourney Chippewa Valley Flash – Eau Claire Wi Nationals (NAFA/USSSA/ASA) – potential for out of state or local. Home fields are Miller Park in Eden Prairie – one of the best softball facilities in the state of Minnesota. A team meeting will be held in January/February to finalize and agree to a tournament schedule for the summer of 2020 based on each team’s goals. Player fees (capped) are $1,200 (Three payments of $400). This includes: -Paid experienced coaches -Fall practices and games -Winter player development – This includes pitching, catching, and hitting with outside instructors. -Summer league and tourneys -Player Uniform and Helmet -Player Insurance Teams normally travel to two travel tourneys during the season where families incur the costs associated with travel. We attempt to keep these costs as affordable as we can. Rosters Rosters are created immediately following the completion of tryouts.
