WE OBSERVE HYSTERETIC LOOPS! DRY CONDITIONS WE STUDY THE FRICTION COEFFICIENT FOR DIFFERENT VELOCITIES AND TIME INTERVALS: the change is minimal WE OBSERVE HYSTERETIC LOOPS!

WET CONDITIONS WITH AESCULAP 5UL-BOVINE SERUM Here on the left, the beginning of the cycles: you see low friction (f<0.15), no squeak, full lubrication Here on the rigth, you see high friction (f>0.6), squeak, nearly dry lubrication (the serum has evaporated after enough cycles). Notice we are CLOSE enough to the dry conditions, although not identically so!
