The media influences how approving or disapproving we are of certain behaviours.
Formal Social Control Police Courts School staff Managers in the workplace Religious institutions Any agent who has authorisation If people break written rules or codes such as the law they will be subject to formal controls such as arrest, prison, discipline etc
