Biodiversity and Fossil Record

Scenario 1 Mammal and fish populations in marine biomes are decreasing due to lack of oxygen, acidification, and the warming ocean temperatures. This is impacting the food web within oceans. Increase or decrease of biodiversity? How do you know? How can you increase biodiversity?

Scenario 2 Fast food places are using areas of land to breed poultry, as well as other organisms. To do this, they are tearing down forests and contaminating the water sources, as well as using up soil. Increase or decrease of biodiversity? How do you know? How can you increase biodiversity?

Scenario 3 Within wetlands, people have made laws to protect the area by not allowing animals to be hunted and having more regulations for protection.
