TEST CAREER Following his good one-day performance against Sri Lanka, Dhoni became Indian Test wicket- keeper in 2005. He scored 30 runs in his debut match and his first Test century against Pakistan in 2006. His performance with the bat too became better. Dhoni scored two centuries in Sri Lanka’s tour of India in 2009 and led India to victory. With this feast, India became the number one Test team. In March 2013, Dhoni became the most successful Indian Test captain. After the 2014-15 tour of Australia, Dhoni retired from the Test format of cricket.

Indian premier league Dhoni plays for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier league. Under his captaincy, the Kings have won two Indian Premier League titles.
