Hudson & Maria Taylor Missionaries to China (1854-1905) My eyes flow with tears of mingled joy and sorrow. When I think of my loss, my heart--nigh to breaking--rises in thankfulness to Him Who has spared her such sorrow and made her so unspeakably happy. My tears are more tears of joy than of grief. But most of all I joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ--in His works, His ways, His providence, in Himself. Hudson & Maria Taylor Missionaries to China (1854-1905)

What 3 things are giving you anxiety or stress presently? What 1 thing was stressing you out 5 years ago?

Stress can lead to anxiety and worry OR prayer and peace. It all depends on how we choose to respond.

Realities about God’s PEACE 1. It is something that affects both our mind (thoughts) and heart (emotions). 2. It is not circumstance-dependent. 3. It is divine…from God. 4. It transcends human reasoning.

Realities about God’s PEACE 5. It guards our mind (thoughts) and heart (emotions).

What is making you anxious? 1.) Engage in thanksgiving. 2.) Ask God how He wants to use that stress in your life. 3.) Ask God to do what you think Jesus wants done in your life with this issue. 4.) Thank God that He is your ultimate joy in life…and eternity.
