Step 1- Do 1st Number the bottom corner of EVERY page Stop when you (back and front) Stop when you get to page 110 .

Page 111– Bell Ringers Section Make a Bell Ringer Flap Like we did in your first notebook. Please use the template in your bin if you are not sure how to make it. Make sure to put the template back into the bin when you are done.

On the Bell Ringer pages make 4 horizontal lines (from left to right) on each page and label them with the days of the week. Do 10 back and front pages!!

Use the markers that are in the bins. On the front write: science On the back , write: If found please return to Mrs. Ellis in room 602.

Pg. 1 - Classroom Rules 1-I will come to class on TIME and with all my materials. (IAN notebook, pencil) 2- I will follow all instruction the first time they are given. 3-I will NOT speak (talk) unless I have been given permission!!!! 4-I will remain seated unless I have been given permission to get up. 5-I will keep my hand, feet, and object to myself. 6-I will respect my classroom, shared materials, my teachers, my classmates, and myself 

Page 2- General Information Page 1- Read the General Information Page Highlight the following: Late/ missing work policy (don’t highlight everything, just key points) My contact info- Highlight the BEST WAY to Contact me!! Tutoring days and times. 2- Glue down on Page 2. 3- Share this page with your parents and get their signature at the bottom of the page.

Pages 3,4,& 5 Table of Content On the top line write Table of Content. Fold the paper so that it has three columns. Label the columns the following: Date Activity Page # Start writing your page numbers.

IAN 7,8,& 9 Take the top right corner of the first page and fold it down to the spine of your book. Glue or tape the right hand side and bottom of page to make your pocket. You will keep your Unit Vocabulary and other important handouts in this pocket! 4

GENERAL INFORMATION- Things You Need To Know! Blog Parents and students should check the blog weekly- It is updated no later than Monday of every week. It has key information on what will be covered that week as well as additional learning resources. MAKE-UP WORK POLICY Students and parents should check the blog if a day has been missed. The blog will have vital information in what has been covered. Upon returning to school, students will be given 1 weeks to make up his/her missing work. Regardless of the reason for absences, it is your student’s responsibility to make up missed work, and to make arrangements with the me to complete missed assignments. All missing work can be found in the missing work bin. IAN Notebook Policy Students will have 1 week to Correct and resubmit any assignment that has been graded and returned. Work that is submitted but not started will not be eligible. I am available to tutor daily from 8:15- 9:00 a.m. - 1 day advance notice is required.
