The Civil War is about to Begin Union and Confederate Forces Set to Clash Students will be able to describe the southern secession and what each side brought to the table of war.

Bell Work Warm Up Please copy down these very important notes: (its December 1860,155 years ago) Southerners thought they had the Constitutional right to leave the United States. They thought the national (federal) government had no right to make them stay. The Free States felt they had NO RIGHT to leave the U.S. (the Union)

I have a question for you… Why was the South determined to quit the USA?
