A Peek at Next Week in… Reminders Mrs. Applegate and Mrs. Gerdes’ Class Jan. 14, 2019 Reminders Homework this year is to practice math facts and read daily AND spend time with your family! Additional homework will be given from time to time to study for tests. Objectives:  Reading: We will continue to study character analysis through a novel study. Language: Students will continue to show ownership by adding an apostrophe at the end of a word. Writing: Writers will focus on different craft elements each day and try it in their writing. (alliteration, onomatopoeia, hyperbole) Spelling Words: birds, boxes, eggs, glasses, boats, dishes, boys, foxes, girls, wishes   Math: This week students will read and write numbers and composing and decomposing Numbers 0-1,200. Test – Friday (Graphing/Reading and Writing Numbers) Science: Students will continue to study weather over the next few weeks. Social Studies: Students will continue to study map skills this week.
