Team involved in Preparing the demo: Presenter: Marcia Inda (SP1.5) Preparing the demo: Adam Belloum (SP2.5), Dmitry Vasunin (SP2.5), Victor Guevara (SP2.5), Wibisono Adianto (SP2.5), and Marcia Inda (SP1.5)

Objectives … The demonstration will show the last results in developing workflow for Grid based systems and the integration of tools developed in various Subprograms in VL-e.

The Application Workflow … developed in SP1.5 in the context of the Ridge-O-grammer use case (described in Appendix 1 of the mid-term- review report, page 88) Human transcriptome map Temperature in Amsterdam DNA curvature of the Escherichia coli chromosome

The Workflow Management System … WSRF compliant workflow engine Workflow monitoring Drag-and-drop composition Hierarchical workflow creation & execution User in the loop Data streaming Detach/re-attach capability Composition panel Monitoring console Property panel Workflow Components palette Implemented as GT4 based/WSRF service Uses GT4 standard delegation service for security Uses GSI enabled, private VNC for Graphical modules Provides notifications for monitoring the execution monitoring of the workflow components: Std Out, Std Err, Status. (described in section Innovation of research of the mid-term-review report, page 37)
