Unit I Introduction to Services Meaning : Every product is a combination of physical(tangible) and non physical(intangible) attributes Products that are primarily intangible are classified as services Services are performed and not produced The more a product is intangible, the more it becomes a service rather than a good.

Any economic activity whose output is not a physical product or construction, is generally consumed at the time it is produced And provides added value in forms like -convenience, amusement, timeliness, comfort or health
