UN36_00060 = CMM Procurement Leitz Reference Model 45129 CMM manufactured by Brown & Sharpe in Wetzlar (Germany) is on order. It should be shipped after in-situ special tuning currently scheduled for the week of March 6th. It is then expected to arrive at SLAC end of April. CMM weight capacity is 3000 kg. CMM measuring range is 0.9 x 1.5 x 4.5 meters. CMM resolution is 0.1 microns or 0.000004 inches. CMM spatial accuracy is a formula based on the length L (in mm): Original: 2.0 microns + L/350 Special calibration for undulator segment: 1.5 microns + L/500.
Tolerance for Girder Alignment Component Alignment on Girder RMS Value Quadrupole in both horizontal directions 125 µm Quadrupole in vertical direction 60 µm BFW in both horizontal directions 100 µm BFW in vertical direction 55 µm

Tunnel Alignment Sequence: Items to work on: Establish survey network in empty UH. Mark bolt-hole floor positions for pedestals. Align pedestals. Survey girder components. Final alignment & integration of monitoring systems. Items to work on: Finalize penetrations & other access. Analyze mechanical requirements for cam movers. Make a local controller for cam movers. Allow schedule for repeated surveys due to tunnel movements.
