SAMPRO Practice Improvement Practice Improvement Module based on implementation of the SAMPRO principles for managing pediatric asthma patients 20 CME credits for physicians; counts as a quality improvement activity for ABAI MOC program Includes a measure “Support the School's Development of an Environmental Asthma Plan” Outcomes: Awareness of the importance of proactively communicating with the schools about the child’s needs, action plan Patients and families need support beyond the office visit Barriers: No defined infrastructure for communicating with the schools Lack of ability to impact school conditions
