High School 101: Respecting Facilities

Cafeteria Throw away your trash Your lunch table must be clear before you walk away Keep bags out of aisle Do not throw food Respect lunch ladies and custodial staff Do not pull seats off tables/respect tables

Hallway Do not tear down posters. Respect other people in the hallway. No inappropriate language. Wipe feet on the mats when coming indoors. Don’t drop papers. Dispose of trash in wastebaskets or recycling bins.

Restroom Do not damage facilities Do not write on walls; be respectful to others Do not waste toilet paper No loitering or drug use Females— use the trash cans provided in each stall for feminine products Remember: If you destroy them, you have no place to go

Appropriate Hallway Behavior Stay on the right side of the hallway Do not block the entire hallway Do not congregate in the hallway Walk swiftly and with a purpose Be polite

Think. . . How do you want your school to be perceived? If you create a trashy school… You create the perception of trashy students. Keep it Ashley Ridge… Not Trashley Ridge.
