Lesson 12 - Lesson objective To understand how different providers of care services work together to meet the needs of all groups Success criteria Build – To discuss and make notes of how different providers of care work together Apply – working in pairs draw a spider diagram to identify the services and then extend the services and link them to other areas. Secure - AfL – read out what you have researched and linked

Questions – why has this client been referred to the other areas of help? 3. Jack was then referred to a speech therapists for speech therapy 2. Firstly Amy took Jack to their local GP 1. Amy and her son Jack have visited the educational psychologist because Jack is having problems with his speech development. The nursery school that Jack attends had discovered this problem and advised Amy accordingly 4. They drew up a programme of treatment for Jack and asked Amy’s permission to let the nursery school know what this was, so that they could all work together on Jacks treatment. 5. Jack will revisit the educational psychologist again to see how he is progressing Children that have benefited include Preemies, Late Talkers, Children with Autism or PDD, Kids with Down Syndrome & Many Others!
