Lower Columbia PNPCA Section Portland’s Big Pipe : The City’s method for Treating Peak Events The Lower Columbia Section’s last plant tour for the year will be held at the City of Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services Columbia Boulevard Wastewater Treatment Plant. Come join us to learn about Portland’s big pipe projects and the plants unique approach to treating wet weather flows. Mike Stebbin and Steve ??? will discuss how the Columbia Boulevard WWTP utilizes wet weather clarifiers to treat peak wet weather flows and will compare the plants operartions to that of the new CSO pipelines.
