Engineering Graphics & Design Grade 11 Engineering Graphics & Design

Overview of the year Research Project – Due Friday 29 May 2nd Project – Due Friday 16 October Homework (All drawings must be handed in on a Friday. No alternate dates. A forfeit form will be issued for any work that has not been handed in on time.) CAD Drawings (4 Overall – 2 TCAD, 2 Solid Edge) Worksheets (10 Working drawings minimum) Tests (6 Overall. Selected 2 per term) Exams - 2 Papers June (2Hrs each); 2 Papers November (2 Hrs each) CAD Exam (2hrs on computer) Portfolio (All assessed work must be kept in a safe place) Greenpower Technology (All grade 10 & 11 EGD students must participate) Motivation Refreshments

Greenpower Project for the year Website to announce participation and advertise Find sponsors – Fund raising Design shell / body of car Accessories – Helmet, gloves, clothes Rotational team racing Technical support Kit = R30 000 (Not including shell and accessories) Collaborate with other EGD students Communicate with UK students Parent involvement Garage (Temporary home for our car)
