Early Civilizations Review Coach Crews World History

Before Weekly Schedule Monday – Review chapters 1-3 (40 point assignment) Tuesday – Review chapters 1-3 (50 point assignment) Wednesday – Explore Testing Thursday – Unit 1 Assessment (open notes) (last major grade of grading period) Friday – Begin next unit (Greece, India, China)

Before Grade Folders Grading period ends next Friday Some of you need to pay extra close attention to your grades this week and next I will take missing work for partial credit No bonus points As we go over your test, pay close attention to make sure I did not make something wrong that I shouldn’t have

During Writing Prompt (40 points) Answer the following questions with a paragraph each (at least 4 sentences) I will give credit for completion, but I will also be giving more attention to content Why do you think Mesopotamia is sometimes called the “cradle of civilization”? Do you agree that Egyptian civilization can be called “the gift of the Nile”? How was the Jewish religion different from religions of other ancient cultures? How did science and technology change people’s lives?

After Discuss Why do you think Mesopotamia is sometimes called the “cradle of civilization”? Do you agree that Egyptian civilization can be called “the gift of the Nile”? How was the Jewish religion different from religions of other ancient cultures? How did science and technology change people’s lives?
