Marriage Marriage was decided by the family + highly valued Adultery was common Divorce Marriage for men depended on status

Sex & Sexuality Not much known since sex was almost always referred to using euphemisms “Crowding together in bed” “Enjoying each other” “Resting together” Homosexuality amongst men was taboo, but not for the typical reasons.
