How did you attract/address your audience?

We attracted/addressed our audience by adding a lot of sensory/cognitive pleasures in our film. This was done by having the detective in some shots looking confused and distressed while having the murders take place in other shots.

Adding a green tint to the shots with the murderer in and an orange tint to the shots with the detective in. Orange tint for shots focusing on the detective. Green tint for shots focusing on the murderer.

We didn’t want to it confuse our audience straight from the opening so we tried to keep it simple, making obvious that three people are murdered and there is a detective looking for the killer. The three victims The killer looking over the detectives portfolio

The main thing that address’ the audience is the monologue added from the killer, talking to the detective. He tells them all of the theory’s in his mind, why he kills and almost taunting the detective. Mentioning the words ‘perfect’ and ‘beautiful’ leads the audience to think if the killer has a mental problem or if something has happened to him in the past, and if so, what happened to him in the first place to make him do what he does.
