Title Use your creativity to rename the laboratory exercise Must be related to the topic Can be humorous Can not use the original title of the exercise Example Original Title: Density Lab Your Title: How dense are you?
Introduction Give a brief paragraph about the topic This may include an introduction of the basic principles or concepts needed to conduct the laboratory or activity
Purpose State the hypothesis or the purpose of the investigation The purpose of this experiment is to determine the speed of chewing bubble gum The purpose of this experiment is to calculate and compare rates of chewing bubble gum Can be an if-then statement If I expose the plant to various concentrations of fertilizer; then an increase in growth will occur.
Materials List the items needed to conduct the investigation Do not create a numbered listing Only list items you actually used When substitutions are used make sure you list the correct materials Bubble Gum Calculator Stopwatch
