Figure 1 Changing Susceptibility Phenotype of TLR11 Knockout Mice Wild-type and tlr11−/− mice were challenged with 1010 CFU of S. typhi Ty2 as previously described (Mathur et al., 2012) and were monitored for 12 days before CFUs were determined using homogenates of the indicated organs prepared as previously described (Mathur et al., 2012), and serial dilutions were plated on bismuth sulfite agar. The experiment in A is representative of data obtained in 2012 and 2013, whereas that in B is representative of experiments performed during 2014 and 2015.
