Logging Into The Computer Turn on the computer When requested, press the Ctrl / Alt / Delete keys on your keyboard

Acceptable Use Policy Read the Policy Realize that clicking OK holds you responsible for what happens on that computer while logged into it Click OK

Log-in Screen Enter your User Name and Password Your teacher will provide you that information Click OK or press Enter Key

Your Computer is now running ready to use

Student Email http://outlook.com/live.siouxcityschools.com Open your web browser Internet Explorer Mozilla FireFox Enter the internet address (URL) http://outlook.com/live.siouxcityschools.com press Enter Key

Log into E-mail program User name: same as computer log-in Add the extra address to the log-in name: @live.siouxcityschools.com (see sample at right) Password: same as computer log-in

Security Issue Remove the check marks for “remember me” and “remember my password”

First Time (only time) you will do the following steps xxxxxxx Simply click “I accept”

First Time (only time) you will do the following Change the time zone click the drop down arrow Choose: Central Time (US & Canada) (near the top of the list) Click OK

Your E-mail is now open and ready to use Doe, John Doe, John When done click: Sign off

Assignment Send your teacher an email to show that you successfully logged on to your email. Subject Line: Your Last Name and Class Period Example: Johnson, Period 2
