UST Science Fair 2019 Grades 3 & 4 Week 3 – 29th April 2019

This week…..

Part 3: Materials List The materials list is easy-peasy lemon squeezy. You will simply need to make a list of everything you used to complete your experiment. Be sure to include specific amounts so ANYONE can repeat your experiment.

Part 3: Materials List You should also list any special equipment such as stopwatches, beakers, rulers or utensils used during the experiment. Readers of your experiment should be able to try it on their own using only your explanations and materials list.

Part 4: Procedure (method) Writing a procedure is necessary so you can do each section of your experiment consistently. Also, just like the materials list, the method section helps another person do your experiment too. Number each step and write down everything you did over the course of the experiment in the order you did them.

This procedure is for investigating what colour an egg changes to when it is put into different liquids.

Your homework this week… You need to write your materials list; You also need to write your procedure (method). Hand in by next Tuesday 7th May.
