Weekly Schedule Academic Agenda Things to Note: Mrs. Kline’s Column September 19 – 23, 2016 Mon. 9/19 - Library Tue. 9/20 – P.E. (Sneakers) Wed. 9/21 - Art Thu. 9/22 – Library Fri. 9/23 – P.E. (Sneakers) Math areas of focus: finding the total of two quantities up to a total of 20, comparing two quantities up to 20 to see which is greater, relating adding 1 or 2 to counting on, introducing standard notation (+ and =) to represent addition situations, visualizing, representing, and solving addition story problems with the result being unknown Language Arts Phonics Areas of focus: letter sounds and letter formation. We will have our Unit 1 Fundations test on Friday! Writing Areas of focus: visualizing, writing from left to right/top to bottom, spacing, rereading writing and relating illustrations to writing Literature Connection: Farmer Duck by Martin Waddell Weekly Schedule Events and News Dates to remember Thursday September 22 – First Day of Autumn Wednesday September 28 – Fall Photo Day!
