2018 Chapter Vitality & Help Needed Chapter Vitality Assessment - OK Chapter is active and holding 6 or more meetings per year Most meetings held during lunchtime at Southwest Research Institute SMC and AES are small/mid-sized societies and local membership is relatively small Chapter meetings attract more non-members than IEEE members Cost of IEEE membership is perceived barrier to recruitment Budget is sufficient for regular meetings Recruiting new volunteers for future Chapter leadership Top Help Needed/Issues Increase perceived value of IEEE and Society membership Hold meetings at different times and locations to attract broader participation Desire to conduct workshops as fund raising events for future initiatives 7/6/2019
