understand Definition: to know what something means I understand the new math homework. The baby doesn’t understand that he has to be quiet in the library.

impatient Definition: not able to wait calmly The girl is impatient because she had to wait so long for her food. I was impatient as I waited for my brother to come home.

impossible Definition: something that cannot be done It is impossible to hear when there is so much noise. It is impossible to get better if you don’t practice.

Problem Definition: a question or situation that needs to be solved Raise your hand if you have a problem. The problem was solved by cleaning up the drink.

furious Definition: very angry My mom was furious when she burnt the cake. I was furious when the football game was cancelled.
