The Failures of 1848 1. Which revolutions were successful? 2. Which revolutions were unsuccessful? 3. Why were they successful in starting revolutions, but not finishing them? 4. Do you think liberalism and nationalism will continue to be important movements in European history after 1848? Why or why not?
