A law is what a bill becomes A law is what a bill becomes. The Executive Branch decides if the bill can become a law. The President can veto a bill, then it will have to be voted on all over again. LAW
The Executive Branch carries out laws, which means to ok a bill to become a law. This branch has the President, and his cabinet. EXECUTIVE
The Legislative Branch writes the laws The Legislative Branch writes the laws. Once a law is passed, the Legislative Branch will write them to make it final. LEGISLATIVE
The Judicial Branch makes sure the laws are fair The Judicial Branch makes sure the laws are fair. For example, when blacks and whites had to go to separate schools, that was not a fair law. JUDICIAL
