Integers The integers are the set of numbers that include the positive whole numbers, zero and the negative whole numbers

Comparing integers Remember: > stands for ‘is greater than’ and the symbol < stands for ‘is less than’ So -4 is < 2, because it is to the left of 2 on the number line, and -2 > -5, because it is to the right of -5 in the number line. -7 -6 -5 -4 -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
