Opening Title Sequence Narrative Hints of the narrative are seen in the opening title sequence, often implying the genre of film and the ‘mood of the film. E.g. In the OTS of Brick we get the impression the film is going to be a thriller as we see lots of crime and the people look quit ordinary. Titles An OTS will always include titles, such as the title of the film, the actors/cast members and key production. Opening Title Sequence Legal Information Such as copyright and producers. Characters An opening title sequence usually features the characters in the film ,introducing the main characters to the audience. Micro details Also make up an OTS, hinting at the genre such as props, lighting and costume.
